Payment, Cancellations, and Refunds
Check payments for early registration must be received no later than August 27, 2018; after that date, the nondiscounted rates will apply. Purchase orders, wire transfers, and cash payments are not accepted.
Persons who have completed an online registration but are unable to attend the HFES Annual Meeting may obtain a refund/credit of fees, less the applicable processing/ cancellation fee, ONLY IF A WRITTEN REQUEST IS RECEIVED BY 5:00 P.M. PACIFIC TIME ON SEPTEMBER 10, 2018. Requests for cancellation should be sent via fax to 714-957-9112 or e-mail to email@example.com. Absolutely no refunds will be granted for requests received after this date.
The following processing fees apply when registration is canceled by the September 10 deadline:

Refunds for workshops, social events, and technical tours that are canceled will be provided within four weeks after the meeting. No cash refunds will be made on site.
You qualify for the student registration rates if you (a) are enrolled full-time as defined by your school (including online-only institutions) and (b) show your current student/university ID when checking in at the Registration Desk.
Students graduating in 2018 must present a 2018 student ID to qualify for the student rate.
Attendees can opt to share their mailing address with exhibitors when registering online. Exhibitors are required to obtain the Society's approval of the mailing piece prior to sending it. HFES shares name and mailing address only; no e-mail addresses are ever distributed to third parties.
Use of Attendee Photos
Completion of the HFES 2018 Annual Meeting registration form signifies that registrants consent to use of photographs in which they may appear, exclusively for purposes of promoting HFES and its events and services.
